These organizations and hotlines may be helpful for mental health support, crisis response, referrals, and emergency situations. Mental Spark is not a crisis service, so please use these resources when immediate or professional support is needed.

Mental Spark is a mentorship and support program. We are not a therapy service, crisis hotline, medical provider, or a replacement for licensed mental health treatment. If someone is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, call 911 or seek help from a licensed professional or local emergency services right away.

Shiawassee County Community Mental Health (SCCMH)

SCCMH provides therapy, case management, crisis intervention, psychiatric services, and support for individuals of all ages, including those with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.

Shiawassee County Youth Center

The Youth Center provides support and resources for at-risk youth, including counseling and referrals to mental health services in the community.

Michigan 211

Michigan 211 is a free, confidential service that connects individuals with local resources including mental health support, food assistance, housing resources, and more.
